The arrival of my bicycle was right on time, and I was updated about the delivery schedule throughout the process. The team at the Hythe bike shop was super helpful, which is why I chose to shop there initially. Unfortunately, because of covid, I haven't had much chance to ride it since picking it up. I got this for my wife as a Christmas gift, and she really loves it! She took her first ride today. I gotta say, I’m a bit surprised and let down that the front light is mounted on a bracket on the near side of the forks, rather than where it should be, either on the offside or in the center. The rear light, while likely legal, is pretty small and hard to see in daylight with all the modern traffic. Aside from those issues, I’m happy with the purchase.

I placed my order for the Infinity on September 15th and got it in late November. It felt like ages, but honestly, the wait was totally worth it. Even though it tips the scales at around 23kg, I can easily cruise at 16 to 18 mph on flat surfaces once the assistance cuts off. The ergonomics fit me just right too. For a bike of its size, it’s surprisingly nimble and has quick steering—almost as twitchy as my regular sports bike. Given that it comes with solid features like mudguards, lights, a rack, and automatic gear shifting, I reckon it’s a fantastic deal. When I hit really steep climbs, I like to switch to manual gear selection since it sometimes struggles to decide which gear to use. This can throw off my rhythm when I’m pushing hard. But on less steep inclines and flat roads, it’s pretty intuitive, always putting me in the right gear. The best part? Riding it is just a blast.

My Infinity was ordered on 15th September and received in late November. Seemed so long but the wait was worth it. Placing an order online was a breeze. They were super helpful when I had some questions about what size to get since I was purchasing bikes for both me and my wife. I went with the Pulse and Pulse LS, but I haven't gotten them yet because I live on a remote island (Fair Isle) and I'm just waiting for a good weather window for the boat to come.

The frame of the Volt Metro bike is sturdy, but it sits too low for riding in the rain. Just six weeks in, I ran into a problem where the lights wouldn’t turn on until I rode about 400 meters. To top it off, the display failed to work today, leaving me unable to use the bike. Now I gotta make a trip to the service center. Super disappointing.

I’m really enjoying my Kensington bike, it’s awesome! Being a petite woman, it fits me just right and is super simple to ride. Since I got it, I’ve taken a bunch of trips that I would’ve normally driven or taken the bus for. It’s a bit on the heavy side, but you just gotta get accustomed to it.

My Kensington bike is fantastic, I love it! As a smaller woman it is the perfect size and it's really easy to operate. Since having it I have done many journeys I would have otherwise used the car or bus for. It is very heavy, but that just needs getting used to.

The delivery was on point, and I've had a much improved experience riding on the road. However, I find it puzzling that mirrors aren't available as add-ons for this electric bike, especially since they're common on cars, motorbikes, and even mobility scooters.

It was delivered in a appropriate time frame and it has given me a better experience of cycling on the road, though since it is an electric bike which would tend to be used on the road, why mirrors are not accessories you can get added is confusing. Cars and motor bikes and even mobility scooters seem to have them.

From the get-go, the communication was top-notch. They reached out to discuss which local bike shop would handle the delivery (not just the official Volt dealers). They coordinated with that shop to accept the delivery, set it up, and get compensated for it (all included in the price advertised). This meant I had a functioning bike in my hands within a week of placing the order, and the local shop got a little something out of it too. I'm still figuring out what my Volt Pulse can do, but so far, I'm really impressed with how it rides and performs. It feels like a sturdy, quality piece. I've easily shaved off 10 minutes each way on my daily commute and tackled those moorland hills, allowing me to ride further and faster during my leisure time… boosting my exercise levels along the way.
